{"id":2793,"date":"2025-11-25T21:14:32","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T21:14:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/menopausematter.org\/?page_id=2793"},"modified":"2025-11-25T21:14:32","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T21:14:32","slug":"app-account-deletion-request","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/menopausematter.org\/es\/app-account-deletion-request\/","title":{"rendered":"Solicitud de eliminaci\u00f3n de cuenta de la aplicaci\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At Menopause matter, we request your privacy and your right to control your personal information.<\/p>\n<p>You can request hat we delete you menopause matter account and accosiated personal data at any time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>How to delete Your account<\/h5>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">To delete your account, please send a request using one of the following methods:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Email us<br \/>\nSend an email to: info@menopausematter.org<br \/>\nSubject line: \u201cDelete My Menopause Matter Account\u201d<br \/>\nIn your message, please include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The email address you used to sign up for the app<\/li>\n<li>Your full name<\/li>\n<li>Whether you have an active paid subscription (Monthly or Yearly)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>In-App Request (if available)<br \/>\nIf you see a Contact or Support link inside the Menopause Matter app, you may also submit your request there.<br \/>\nPlease clearly write: \u201cI am requesting deletion of my Menopause Matter account and data.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5>What Will Be Deleted<\/h5>\n<p>When we process your request, we will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delete your user account from the Menopause Matter app<\/li>\n<li>Delete or anonymize your profile information (name, email, username where applicable)<\/li>\n<li>Delete your app usage data that can be linked to you personally, except where we must keep data for legal or security reasons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some limited information may be retained in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Payment records and invoices we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax or accounting purposes)<\/li>\n<li>System backups, which are automatically overwritten after a period of time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will not use any retained information to contact you for marketing or promotional purposes once your account is deleted.<\/p>\n<h5>Important: Managing Your Subscription<\/h5>\n<p>If you subscribed to Menopause Matter through Google Play or another app store:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deleting your account with us does not automatically cancel your store subscription.<\/li>\n<li>You must cancel your subscription directly through Google Play (or the store where you purchased) to stop future payments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Google Play subscriptions, you can usually cancel by:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Opening the Google Play Store<\/li>\n<li>Going to Payments &amp; subscriptions &gt; Subscriptions<\/li>\n<li>Selecting Menopause Matter<\/li>\n<li>Tapping Cancel subscription<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you subscribed directly through our website or another platform and are unsure how to cancel, please mention this in your email and we will help guide you.<\/p>\n<h5>How Long It Takes<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>We aim to process all deletion requests within 30 days.<\/li>\n<li>In most cases, your account will be removed much sooner.<\/li>\n<li>If we need more information to verify your identity, we will contact you at the email address you provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about account deletion, data privacy, or subscriptions, you can contact us at:<\/p>\n<p>Email: info@menopausematter.org<\/p>\n<p>Website: https:\/\/menopausematter.org<\/p>\n<p>3.
