At Menopause matter, we request your privacy and your right to control your personal information.
You can request hat we delete you menopause matter account and accosiated personal data at any time.
How to delete Your account
To delete your account, please send a request using one of the following methods:
- Email us
Send an email to: info@menopausematter.org
Subject line: “Delete My Menopause Matter Account”
In your message, please include:- The email address you used to sign up for the app
- Your full name
- Whether you have an active paid subscription (Monthly or Yearly)
- In-App Request (if available)
If you see a Contact or Support link inside the Menopause Matter app, you may also submit your request there.
Please clearly write: “I am requesting deletion of my Menopause Matter account and data.”
What Will Be Deleted
When we process your request, we will:
- Delete your user account from the Menopause Matter app
- Delete or anonymize your profile information (name, email, username where applicable)
- Delete your app usage data that can be linked to you personally, except where we must keep data for legal or security reasons
Some limited information may be retained in:
- Payment records and invoices we are legally required to keep (for example, for tax or accounting purposes)
- System backups, which are automatically overwritten after a period of time
We will not use any retained information to contact you for marketing or promotional purposes once your account is deleted.
Important: Managing Your Subscription
If you subscribed to Menopause Matter through Google Play or another app store:
- Deleting your account with us does not automatically cancel your store subscription.
- You must cancel your subscription directly through Google Play (or the store where you purchased) to stop future payments.
For Google Play subscriptions, you can usually cancel by:
- Opening the Google Play Store
- Going to Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
- Selecting Menopause Matter
- Tapping Cancel subscription
If you subscribed directly through our website or another platform and are unsure how to cancel, please mention this in your email and we will help guide you.
How Long It Takes
- We aim to process all deletion requests within 30 days.
- In most cases, your account will be removed much sooner.
- If we need more information to verify your identity, we will contact you at the email address you provided.
