At Menopause Matter, we believe every user should have full control over their personal information.
If you would like to delete the data associated with your Menopause Matter app account—without deleting your account itself—you may submit a Data Deletion Request at any time.

1. How to Request Deletion of Your Data
To request deletion of your personal data, please send an email to:

Subject: Menopause Matter App – Data Deletion Request
Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address connected to your app account
- A list of what you want deleted, for example:
- “Delete all my personal data.”
- “Delete my profile information only.”
- “Delete my saved notes, journal entries, and preferences, but keep my login active.”
We cannot process requests without this information.
2. What Data Can Be Deleted
Depending on the features you use in the Menopause Matter app, data deletion may include:
- Profile details (name, age range, preferences, etc.)
- Saved app content (notes, favorites, check-ins, settings)
- In-app usage data
- Non-essential support messages
- Any optional personal information you provided inside the app
The following cannot be deleted if required by law or technical necessity:
- Security logs
- Fraud-prevention records
- Billing or subscription records maintained by Google Play
- Any data required for legal, safety, or compliance purposes
In these cases, we minimize and restrict the data as much as possible.
3. How Long the Process Takes
Once your request is received:
- We will confirm your identity
- Data deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days
- Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered
You will receive a confirmation email when the process is complete.
4. Your Account Will Remain Active
Submitting a data deletion request does not delete your app account.
You will still be able to:
- Sign in
- Continue using the app
- Keep your content, if you choose partial deletion
- Maintain active subscriptions
